2017 has almost come to an end, so it’s time I share my favourites from the past year. Beauty, lifestyle, music, and more – I’ve got it all in one post!
If you’ve read my blog for a while, a lot of these beauty favourites will come as no surprise to you, but that is just a testament to how much I love these products.
IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Essentials Palette
This palette has been my go to for months now. I’m a massive fan of neutrals and this palette delivers the goods. You can read my full review here.
Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner + Models Prefer Kohl Pencil “Dark Chocolate”
Eyeliner is a staple in almost every makeup look I wear. This duo of eyeliners create a look that is incomparable to any other eyeliners I’ve used. They are also easy to use and great for beginners.
Formula 10.0.06 Take Back Control Coconut & Cacao Mask
If you love chocolate, you’ll love this face mask. It smells wonderful and is great in the warmer weather where my skin is a bit more on the oily side.
Essano Rosehip Moisturising Creme
I tried this cleanser around mid year and it definitely came at the right time! It helped a lot with my dryer skin and made my skin feel smooth, soft and supple.
Sukin Moisture Restoring Night Cream
Another new find of 2017. This stuff is incredible! The best night cream I’ve ever tried.
SIA Christmas Album
Sia’s Christmas album is the album I never knew I needed. My favourite tracks are “Candy cane lane”, “Santa’s coming for us” and “Puppies are forever”.
Fallin’ Jessica Mauboy
I’m a massive fan of Jessica Mauboy and personally, I think Fallin is one of the best songs she’s ever done.
Perfect Ed Sheeran
What’s a favourite songs list without a bit of Ed Sheeran? Perfect is a bit of a predictable choice, but it’s just too good. I’m also loving the new versions released with Beyoncé and Andrea Bocelli.
Cadbury Dark Milk Blended Chocolate
I mainly created this miscellaneous category because I wanted to talk about food, without giving it it’s own section. This year, Cadbury (the superior chocolate brand, I don’t care what anyone says) brought out blended dark and milk chocolate. I was skeptical at first, thinking “how will that work?” But I was definitely proven wrong. This stuff is incredible! If you feel milk chocolate is too sweet for you, but dark chocolate is too bitter, you’ll probably love this chocolate, as it’s a perfect blend of both.
Face tune app
No, I don’t love this app for the reason you’re thinking. What I actually use it for is editing my blog and Instagram photos. I use the whitening tool for the background in all my photos as it’s so effective and easy to use.
That concludes my favourites of 2017!
